Its suction of 2,500Pa was weaker than other robots but it was still silent and moved swiftly. It didn't mop however and its cleaning pads were fiddly to attach and couldn't cope with dried-on dirt.
The app is on the basic side and lacks features such as multiple cleaning modes and automated scheduling. It is compatible with Alexa but its voice controls don't seem to be very clear or responsive. It's also a little erratic when it returns to the charging station following a run. Other robots can follow the wall or trace a previous route however, the RX3 bumbles around until it gives up.
Another issue we had was with its clever features, specifically the mapping function and digital keep-out zones. While it did a great job of keeping away from our shoes and furniture legs but it could easily be caught by socks and cables, and couldn't handle the tassels of rug.
